Our farm

Quinta do Alto São João is an accommodation with more than just a swimming pool and gardens. It also grows its own vegetables and fruit. Their is a poultry farm and a nice collection of unique pigeons.

The Quinta also makes its own honey and sells these commercially. The photo below shows Senhor Perdigão (Hotel Director) storing a container of his own home grown honey.

All agricultural pursuits are agro-biological. Extra care is taken to ensure that vegetables and other produce are free from pesticides and all unnecessary impediments to the proper cultivation of healthy food.
